The Greatest Gift - A Poem

23 12 2007

This gift I share isn’t found under a tree.
It was born in a manger, under a star for all to see.

It’s the true gift of Christmas that fills our hearts with joy.
It’s the gift that is available to every girl and boy.

It’s a gift that relieves our pains, insecurities and fears.
This gift comforts our soul and wipes away our tears.

It’s the gift that gives us hope, despite the trouble we may face.
It brings peace, joy and life to a world in need of grace.

I tell you of this gift, because I want you to know…
…the greatest lesson you can learn in life is how God loves you so.

The true gift of Christmas shines bright on Christmas Day,
as a reminder of His love, born in Christ that day.

Hi beloveds, there is no greater way to live our life on earth than to live for Jesus Christ. There is no greater joy other than the joy of knowing Jesus Christ personally.

Let us not just celebrate this Xmas as another worldly festival but that filled with Jesus Christ.

Be blessed & stay blessed this season and into another great year (2008).

Jesse

Pastor. Dr. Reuben M. Sathiyaraj (08:45:52) :

What is Christmas?

“It is tenderness for the past, courage for the present, hope for the future. It is a fervent wish that every cup may overflow with blessings rich and eternal, and that every path may lead to peace.” [Agnes M. Pahro]

I pray that God, Who gives you hope will keep you happy and full of peace as you believe in Him. May you overflow with hope through the power of the Holy Spirit! (Romans: 15:13)

May the simple, yet miraculous truth of Christmas may touch your heart anew this year!

Have a Wonderful Christmas & a Bright and Prosperous New Year - 2008.

Dear Saints in Christ,

Greetings.

On Sunday 16th December afternoon while as a big group when we were going to dedicate a branch Church building one of my co-pastor met with accident and on the spot his wife Manjula (38 Yrs) died and he (Pastor. Dayalan - 41 Yrs) got multiple fractures and now in the hospital.

Manjula is the first missionary from our Church and a vibrant believer of our Lord. She was in the ministry from 1990 with our Church. Her death is a great loss to our ministry and her 2 children Gladys Christina (8 yrs) and Joseph Ragland (6yrs) are crying for the parents and it is breaking our hearts.

On Monday (17th) we have laid the body of Manjula for eternal rest with the hope of resurrection, and Pastor. Dayalan went through the operation on Tuesday and now needs the prayer and practical support of God’s people to come out of the hospital to continue his ministry.

The Pastor has no insurance or eligible for any compensation from the government side. The car which hit their 2 wheeler belongs to a rowdy type local politician, so the police is not taking any positive steps to help us to file a case and being a minority group in this area we have no way to get the help of the law.

So, through this mail I would like to request the saints all over the world to pray for the healing and future ministry of Pastor Dayalan and the 2 young children who are crying for the mother. It is not my intention to request for financial support for the huge amount of medical expenses, but in case if any of God’s children would like to help this Pastor you are welcome to do so as the Lord leads and enables you. If you let me k now your desire and then I will be able to give you the needed details.

Brother in Christ,

Pastor. Reuben M. Sathiyaraj

Gift (10:10:56) :

Seasons greetings to the family of God,
I just felt like sharing my own feelings about Christmas. This season is supposed to be for sober reflections on the sacrificial nature of Jesus Christ who left his position and post in heaven just to die for me and you. What a remarkable character. That is what you and i and everyone is supposed to see Christmas as. It is an opportunity to sacrifice, share love and the good news of the gospel to the whole world. There are many out there who have not received the good news.
Many people think this season is a time for making merry and even serving the devil. In my country Nigeria today, most people have found christmas a season to deceive others and do all sorts of partying and night clubbing. This has led to the loss of many lives to the devil.
My advice to everyone today is that we all should really celebrate christmas in the right way by spreading the word of Jesus christ and showing love to the lonely ones.
God bless you all, amen.

My wish is that fellow Christian Brothers and sisters alike will visit my site at: http://www.freewebs.com/revdandhaene/ and find it in their hearts to give financial help to my mission to the poor! Provide used Bibles and or Christian Lierature as well, that they will learn to trust Jesus in that way. Your prayers are much appreciated. God Bless!
Respectfully,
Rev. Daniel Dhaene Sr.

It is always nice to find websites that promote the Gospel! I personally have a ministry to to poor, and prison inmates. You will find it interesting when you read the pages on the website! You may even be moved with enough love and compassion to help us financially! Do so however, from a loving heart, and not under compulsion! You will be blessed if you do!
May the Lord Bless you at all times!
in Christ,
