Poem/Prayer | “I See You…”
13 06 2008Below is a short poem/prayer that I hope will bring a little extra encouragement to your day…
“I See You”
I feel you in the breeze as it glides across my face.
I see you in the morning sun, rising into place.
I know that you are there in everything I see,
I come before you humbled, bowing on my knee.
Your love is so astounding,
Your mysteries amaze,
Your grace, it comforts me,
Each and ever day.
I am just a man,
Who hopes to do your will.
I seek your direction,
For my unique role to fill.
Sometimes I get confused,
And can even go astray,
But you are there every time,
Helping me find my way.
You are the God of wonder,
And even though I can’t see your face,
I see you all around me,
From the oceans to outer space.
I’m thankful you’re my God,
And I just pray,
That I never lose sight,
Of the blessings you bring each day.

I thought that poem was amazing! I could feel the writers love for Jesus thru every word….
Five months ago I was cured and I mean cured from alchoholism by the Grace of God. I drank every day and all day long, I wanted to stop but did not know how. I cried and prayed almost every day, nothing seemed to work everything in my life was going wrong and I blamed anyone that came near to me for all my problems. Then one day a friend of mine phoned me to tell me that her 16 year old daughter was not only pregnant but involved with drugs and satanism come rasta religion. Although I was hurting and feeling very sorry for myself I decided that I would take a trip to see her, she was always there for me. (christian counsellor). I knew I could not drink while I was with her but tried not to give it much thought. I left the next day and that was also the end of my drinking!!!!!!! We went to church on the Sunday and of course being touched by the Holy Spirit I was tearful all through the service. I did not miss the invitation for someone to pray for me although at the time I did not know what I really wanted them to pray for, I was just miserable and sick of this life, I felt hopeless and lost. After being prayed for I supose I felt better but was not ready to write a book about it. It took a couple of days before I realized that I had no desire to drink anymore. Could this be for real? to cut a very long story short I have not included all the details but believe me when God does something for you it is for REAL no one and nothing can change what God does!!!!!!!!!!!!! many of my family and friends still drink and it does not phase me, I don’t even notice. Now I can really work on my relationship with my Heavenly Father. He has done many miracles in my life already, yes he even brought me back to life when the dr’s decided it was time for me to check out well then God checked in. May God bless you all

Beautiful poems, the Lord touched you and it is visible in that poem. It moved the spirit in me, so I knew that it was the spirit of God that wrote. May God bless always and thank you
