Prayer Request
We recently sent a survey on Wednesday, September 5th asking those in our community to share any prayer request they had. Below is a listing of some of those request (more to be added soon). The responses below are exactly as they came in (minus names). While we realize that it may be impossible to pray for each specific need, we ask that you pray over this entire list and consider praying for a few specific needs.

I thought I better write a prayer request seen as I don’t know how to ask anyone I know to pray for me. This morning I was sitting thinking, kinda midly hungover from the night before just thinking about my problems and when i last felt ok which was a long time ago. And it got me thinking about what I am in terms of am i a body, a mind or what. Then something kinda clicked in me that I needed to live by the spirit instead f by my feelings which is what I have alwasy kinda lived by. Anyway to cut a long story short i got saved today in that i made the decision that i need christ in my life. I didnt say any big prayers or anything, in fact i didnt utter a word. I just wrote my thoughts out and prayed in my head and my heart and I guess this time I meant it cos i feel different to before. I dont really know what to do from here it kinda scares me and I still have alot of hurt and anger to work through. Its only day one and already i am doubting my decision because of the way my life is and the fear i have of fully committing to a christian lifestyle so I pray for strength and wisdom to see this through. I dont really know what i need but whatever it is I ask for it to be provided.

Nowadays my heart is not willing to pray, when i use to sit for prayer my brain goes to think about world, i’m having a gift of holy sprit & many other gifts from Lord Jesus, but they are not working properly. please pray for me. I am student, since long my marks are too low. My last year results are going to come. I feel so worried, it wouldnt work out. I am not able to concentrate on my studies. I study all night a subject, i cannot write much on paper. some subject i write the paper but the teacher end up cutting down all marks of a question for an error. I never questioned them for it. I dont know, I am experiencing this failure for long. Please please pray for me…
I pray that God answers all the requests listed on this site. Let those who are sick be healed, let those who are in turmoil fing peace in the Lord. The Holy Spirit is our comforter, and always remember that we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us. I pray for the spirit of hurt and anger to be taken away from Jenny Pongen, God has given us the spirit to forgive. I pray for Fran Brocus, please, it is not for us to judge. It is our duty and responsibility to pray for sinners. Remember the great commissioning in Mt 28..Go ye therefor and be disciples unto the world.Jesus never asked for us to go and judge! Remember too that he asks for us to visit those in prison! We are not encouraging crime and wrongdoing, for Paul says ..are we then to continue in sin for grace to abound?-well the answer is no!, but at the same time, there is so much jubilation in Heaven when one sinner turns to Him above!
I pray that we may not ask out of selfishness for others to pray for us, and never pray for others in turn. Let’s take time to read these requests and to pray upon them and to correct and help each other at all times. Remember, someone else loved you so much and died for you on the cross!
Please pray for my marriage, that it may be resrored by the Lord. I also pray for a friend living in the UK, but with a visa that is almost expiring. Believe in God with me that the Visa will be sorted out, and for her contract at work to be renewed.
Believe in prayer with me for a financial breakthrough, and the Joy that comes from the Lord. I thank the Lord for those who read my request and prayed for me to have a friend in Christ, I have one now, and I glorify God for it!

This message is for ‘just got saved’
I know it may be difficult to really approach someone and start talking to them about Jesus, but the startng point may be going to a church that is nearby, or somewhere distant if you feel that your old friends will discourage you. You have taken a very good step, and the best decision that anyone can ever give. I Christ Jesus, you have to confess with the word of your mouth that you have done wrong, but that you want Jesus to cleanse you and to forgive you, and to live a life that is pleasing to Him. The word of God says every knee shall bow, and every tongue shall confess that Jesus Christ is King and Lord of all. By the word of your testimony, you are saved my dear. I encourage you to repeat out loud what you said on the day that you were said. Do not whisper, but say it, and give the devil a kick in the butt!
You can find a Bible, and start reading from the book of Romans, which will give you a confirmation of what you are doing. May God bless you richly, and stand in faith so that the devil may not sweep you away again.Fellowship with others, so that you may know how to walk on your Christian walk.
You have done a great thing, o faithful servant of God. Now feed on the word, just as a newly born feeds on milk, you also must grow and turn others to the love of Jesus. Don’t feel like a fish out of water.Read Hebrews 4vs 1..for those in the world have also heard the word that you had, but you went a step further and combined that word with faith, and stay in faith my dear. Remember that man cannot live on bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth from the mouth of God.

Please include me in your prayers; I have been trying so hard to pray for this one thing in my heart, but I seem to face very strong opposition from negative and perhaps evil sources that is holding me to to live my live in holiness and in a manner that pleases God-The Father of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. If any one finds himself eager to honestly put a few words of prayer for me, just mention the man who left no ailment to be freed of, and who needs the power of the Holy Spirit to be relieved from the struggle faced against the evil one! I am a young man with a lot of problem, I like to know God and the reason why he has created me. People never keep their promise they give to me, anytime they promise me to do something for me at the end of the time they change and that hurts me so much. I was told by many postor that I have a gift in me from God, they said that one day I will be a pastor and yet a Bishop and I will open many churches around the world.
So I would you to pray for me so that I can become the one God wants me to be. Thank you to all who prayed in ernest for me. The book of James states that pray for one another, as the prayer of a righteous man is powerful. I thank you all for praying for my situation. God has responded, and I am enjoying my marriage yet again. I am also very grateful that I have found a friend in Christ who uplifts my spirit when I am down. I thank the Lord that He has delivered me from debt-even if it meant that I had to part with a large portion of my salary.
May all the requests and desires listed here be fulfilled in the Lord.Let’s remember to continue praying for each other-remember that Jesus says if men who are sinful, know what to give to their children, how much more can God the creator give to us?

Please pray that I accept God’s gift of patients and wisdom. He has given me the desire of a new home that I have admired for 15 years. It only needs some minor work to be able to move into by Thanksgiving. All of the things that need done are things I know how to do, but I am disabled, recovering from a third back surgery, therefore unable to do the work. My husband came out of retirement and is working long hours in order to help me have my dream. This leaves him no time to work on the house. Pray that I have patience to accept God’s time table instead of my own. Also, give me wisdom in deciding whether or not to let my son who is in prison live with me again. He was granted parole for a second time on a 10 year sentence for drugs and has spent the last year in rehab. He can get out now if he has a place to stay, or in three months or so if he has to wait for a bed in the half-way house. Please pray that my other son, a Navy Lt. scheduled to be deployed to Guam for a year be kept safe, and that his wife, an Air Force 1st Lt, be well and not deployed while he is gone. They were just transferred to a new duty station, and will move just in time for him to leave. Please pray that my daughter and son-in-law start going to church and that all three commit their lives to serving our God through Jesus Christ, our lord and savior. Most of all, right now I need to stop feeling sorry for myself, count my many blessings and focus on what I do have instead of what I don’t. Though my body is not able to do the things I want, my disease is not terminal. Pray that I will hear God’s call to do what he desires with me.

The Vision
A farm/old holiday resort or hotel with many individual homes/rooms/units built as the need arises for orphaned and abandoned children up to the age of 18 years. A young adults home and self help centre – not only to educate but also to provide for the “family farm” for e.g. A vegetable plantation where vegetables are sold for income, a sewing school of which items can be sold for income etc. The young adults home mainly exclusively for our own growing children that turn 18. A home for the destitute adults and elderly – the active adults can work in and on the farm – not only as farm workers but in kitchen, housekeeping, caring for elderly etc. A hospice section. A female and male volunteer home. A church. A community lapa/centre. A school – ACE/OR OTHER System and a Clinic. A sports and recreation area.
The children to be cared for in the individual homes or sections by house parents/caregivers under the direct supervision of Michael and Susan who will have their own family also to take care of. The young adults home to be run by the young adults themselves with a plan, under the strict supervision of elders – a proper monthly budget to be worked out for this home, a cleaning, washing and ironing schedule to be rostered etc. All this for the young adults to ensure that when they leave the farm/property that they are ready to live independently.
Mission
With the growing number of orphaned and abandoned children with the stress on HIV/AIDS Orphans we see the need for New Hope Centre to be established. This vision was placed in the heart of myself (Susan Harris) about 10 years ago when I first gave my heart to the Lord and actively started trying to make a difference in the lives of the less fortunate at the hotel my husband (Michael Harris) and I worked at. A few years later my husband joined me in this plea for the poor and less fortunate as he also gave his heart to the Lord. On and off since then we have been helping where we can until 18 months ago when we fostered 6 children and stepped permanently into the ministry at The Village Safe Haven in Buccleuch Sandton. My vision was given to someone trusted and was much smaller than now but alas has since then been put to one side. I woke up in the middle of one night and God had just given me a greater vision. I know that with the success we have had with 2 HIV / AIDS children we can and will improve and give hope to the dying and destitute. We could give a much fuller life to them and we know that we have been given the capacity to cope with huge amounts of especially children, not only on our own but also together with those we appoint to assist.
Our main mission would be children but we do not want to dismiss the aged and destitute as this is also a reality.
Obviously the centre will be run under strict supervision and a committee would be expected to be formed out of the investors.
Registration
Registration as an NPO with the Department of Social Development as well as registration with the Local Health Departments in the area will be done.
Accountability
Accountability and transparency will be a huge issue and thus an independent financial institution will be a must.

Every time i enquire about the status, they said your application under process with British High Commission office at Chennai. Today I directly checked with British High Commission office, i have received written email stating that, your application not yet received this office. Now i doubted that the agent is cheated to me. Request you to please pray for me either to get proper visa/work permit to UK or to get back my money. I have already attended 2 times THAPAS and 2 times night Vigil (one times with family) and one time Aganda Japamala in IMS especially pray for success to go UK. Now I am totally upset this. But I have confident with your prayer can help my sympathetic situation. Request once again please pray for me….God bless you..

Hi am anitha , bascially am a chirstian but only from last two years i started to accecpt jesus christ as my true and only god, before this happen i had fall in love with one hindu guy we both got register marriage without kowledge of our parents but we dont live together bcoz tat time i was doing UG 2nd year . we planned to live together after 2years. now i completed my UG and working and our parents accepted our love we both gonna get marry probably by next year…… but i want my husband to accept jesus christ as a true god. i told him several times about jesus christ but hes not ready to accept and i don know wat to do with him he is my husband legally but i have full hope tat my lord jesus christ wud definitely change him to a true christian boy very soon …. pls pl pls plspls…….. kindly pray for my problem……… i want jesus always……… for any sake i wont give up my jesus christ ………

I have conducted missionary meetings together with Kingdom Shines Ministries and Holy Spirit Ministries both of these ministries have headquarters in Kampala, Uganda.

I have a desire to unite the kingdom of God in Uganda, Kenya, Rwanda, Burundi and the Moslem world in Africa by bringing men and women of God together to share the good news to those under the captivity of the devil. This especially aims people in remote areas of Africa.
Organizing revivals and out-reaches
Under this vision in Africa, leads to the building of the body of Christ and gives hope to the lost.
This goes beyond the call of the duty to encourage and strength the body of Christ in Africa by inviting foreign preachers to their ministries.
Bring Healing and forgiveness
This aims to those who have been wounded and broken by calamities like wars, tradition barriers and those still under oppressive powers of the enemy or the devil in Africa.
Equipping women and men of God with practical gospel. Faith without action is good as dead….
Vision 2
To build a healing and restoration base/ ministry house for the street children and prostitutes, even those have lost their parents due to wars and AIDS. This can be done by I) providing shelter where they can gather;
11) Offering them training which will enable them to create their aftermath income;
111) To build a centre for healing of soul, spirit and body for all denominations.
VISION NEEDS
Pray for Mission to Africa to meet the following out standing needs:
1. A pick-up (bucky`) to help in the out reaches and work in the local remote project.
2. Tent to seat 500 or more to help in out reaches and revivals. Local pastors will also use it freely.
3. Sound system: mission to Africa needs a sound system to promote the gospel. This system with amplier will be used by ministers of God.
4. Monthly support out reaches, missions and project.
5. Kitchen equipments costing
6. A satellite Office equipments: a) 2 computers, one photocopier and printer with carriage costs to Uganda.
7. A need of the second hand generator, with the carriage costs to Uganda
8. Second hand Ten computers for the project, with the carriage costs to Uganda
9. Second hand Eight sewing machines costing, with the carriage costs to Uganda.
10. Office and musical instruments to be used by the office and assisting out-reaches
11. Care and support materials both physical and spiritual like bibles, recorded preaching extra to be used by project and other men of God from the office.
12. A small office for coordinating monthly $ 450 RD 3000 with communication to offices both local and international.
13. Mission to Africa out reaches to Africa: yearly ($ 5000 to four different countries).
14. Buying more land and developing to premises.
15. Plastic (500) chairs to be borrowed for out-reaches.
16. 5 (Five) motor cycles to be used at mission ground.
17. Feeding scheme for the poorest among the poor; RD 8000 per month.

Only the grace of God opend my eyes to have the personel salvation in 1993. i cheated people for 6 years. in 1994 i left the job to do the full time service to God with my personel salvation and model life. i founded the Peace ministries in our local town and i established an office as PHILADELPHIA GOSPEL CENTER. with lot of struggles and temptation i am going now. Myself and my family, God to meet our point of need. My husband to take the step of faith and give all of himself to God, i praise God for what he has already done in Abraham’s life. My sister gettting married, God to bless the union. My parents. The Williams family, son 2 yrs old, diagnosed with pheomonia. Mr Jacobson taken up in hospital, marriages under attack, Rashied and Mishqah who has recently given their lives to Jesus and became Christians, Joshua, pastor’s son was born a weak ago but problems with his tiny heart, the tik drug in our neighbourhood with gangsters stealing even water meters from people’s yards. Kyle, Jesus he is willing to serve you in the missionary field, open doors for him Father and meet his need so he can go forth for you, we invest in him for you.
Father it is my prayer that you will just undertake and be with the people mentioned above, that Lord even I stand in the need of prayer. Father keep me close to your heart and help me to be the light in the office, at home,sunday school which you want me to be. Lord because you sit on the throne we praise you for what you are able to do and thank you. Let your will be done in our lives today and forever more. Thank you for your love that has no end. I ask for your prayers for husband and myself. We will be married for 25 yrs this Weds. It has been a rough road! Filled with abuse and neglect, anger and unforgiveness. Not at all what we ‘dream’ of. Although when I was young I always wanted children, I believe it has been a blessing that we do not have any…since I would not have wanted children to be raised in the environment that we have had. Things have calmed down somewhat over the years but the trust I once had is gone. Not only the trust for and in my husband but in others as well. Before I reached this point, I have been abandoned by family and friends….. all that I had give support of all kinds .. that they have turned their backs on me in my times of need. Some of this was abandonment throu death (not in their control. The others have walk away…. only they know the reasons why. When I have asked, Why? or If I did something to Hurt them, I get no response…no answers. When I say, I can not change or correct a problem, if I do not know what it is….again, no response…no answer.
At this point I have come to realize (at last) that the Only One I can Trust and Believe in (encluding myself) ~ is Jesus!
Please pray for both of us, That the Holy Spirit will touch us…. live within us and Change us. So that our focus will be on the Trinity of God and not on ourselves. In this world….. my problems are small! But they have served a great purpose in bring me to this point. I pray (and ask you to pray as well), that I may MAKE TIME for prayer….. and Learn to Pray with my heart and not my mouth.

I am in need of prayer, I recently lost my job due to not having transportation to work on weekends. When I first applied on application and job profile, I stated my restrictions being the means of public transportation. I was told by Human Resources that wouldn’t be a problem, other employees depended on public transportation, just informed manager so they could fix schedule according to restrictions and availability. For over a year I worked my availability, until a new manager came in and said I had to work weekends, I had availability according to bus schedule, which the bus don’t go on military post on weekend. The manager said it wasn’t her problem I had no transportation. I either had to risk getting fired because I had no way on post or resigned, which I thought would be best, I didn’t want to be fired, because I enjoyed my job and did very well doing it. I applied for unemployment and was denied, they felt I didn’t have a good reason for resigning. I have no source of income and my bills are overdue and soon will be cut off. I am day and night filling out job application online, but haven’t received a response. Please pray with me that God bless me with a job and financial blessing to help pay my bills. Thank you.

I need prayer support for deliverance from the persecution I’m going through in the Bahamas. I am holiness minded. I do not think that we can continue in sin after a true conversion. However many accuse me of causing others to doubt their salvation. I’m called a troublemaker & I’m not welcomed in any church here.
Churches are aligned against me across denomination. Their unity makes them a powerful influence to continue getting government positions on boards & money for their humanitarian endeavors that only seem to serve to enrich them. They do help a people but you must be just as corrupt as they are.
Anyone in an influential position is given ministerial titles by pastors. Many police officers are ministers. I am harassed constantly by them. As a matter of fact police. public transportation drivers ,clerks in fast food eateries & stores are always bothering me . They spread lies about me wherever I go. I usually have to catch the public bus & they know my routine. This island is only 21 by 7 miles & there are not many places you could go in my position.
There is a mob like excitement when I go out. People are laughing & talking about how much fun they are having messing with me. This is the most hurtful part . People laugh & praise God when I have nothing to eat.
The pastor of the church I went to has said I will always be on the streets begging & I will die on the streets. I am in a room in a small hotel. I saved some money whiles staying with a family . The house they were staying in was sold after he refused to put me out. He lost the small breakfast business he had & the small church he was pastoring. He has vowed not to help me anymore & is now with those who are trying to tear me down. This is how determined these people are to see me with nothing. People cry when I have anything good are become very emotionally distraught. I kid you not. When I was on the street many were praising God.
Please strive with me in prayer that God will prove to this society His Word & that He can not be mocked.

I thank you for your prayers and ask that you please continue to pray with me for this man’s salvation (also, for his deliverance from addiction). I wanted to say thanks to Ekaka and divinity for everything so far. To everyone who doesn’t believe or is considering a spell, I was one of those skeptical ones at first. I wasn’t quite sure if I wanted to do this since I’ve tried other so-called spells caster and they did not work and
